Sustainable Gardens and Permaculture

Having a Sustainable garden is the easiest way to improve your health & wellbeing as well as reducing your carbon emissions.

Permaculture is permanent agriculture – gardening in such a way as to improve the soil whilst providing food for yourself & your family on a continuing basis.

Sustainability starts in our own backyards. Don’t worry if you don’t have a backyard, you can grown your own vegies on a balcony in pots or in a small courtyard. All you need is the enthusiasm and a little know how.

Installing an edible garden is an easy way to produce your own food and reduce your greenhouse gas emissions. Plants absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and produce oxygen which means by growing –plants we’re all doing our bit to help the environment.

Plants provide three functions  – they reduce greenhouse gas, provide with us food and can improve the quality of your indoor air.
